The Rosedale Addition is a renovation and expansion designed to meet the needs of a growing family in Oakland, CA. The project centers around an elevated outdoor deck that connects to a new master bedroom, as well as a renovated kitchen and dining room. This layout enhances the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a perfect setting for family gatherings and entertaining. The clients’ main goal was to create a home that not only accommodates their expanding family but also provides ample space for hosting guests, neighborhood events, and fully enjoying the beautiful East Bay climate.
